South Korea Will Not be Banning Cryptocurrencies

Good news from our Asian markets, South Korea will not be banning digital assets, exchanges, and technologies. The finance minister of one of the crypto market’s key economies, South Korea, has confirmed this. After weeks of going back and forth whether or not the government will ban cryptocurrencies, South Koreans were relieved with this news. However, the government will still be keeping a close eye on exchanges and platforms. Ever since it was the Justice Ministry’s idea to put a ban on digital assets, backlash from citizens, investors, and even government officials have caused the government to change their mind.
