Santander Bank Launching Mobile App Using Ripple’s Ledger

Ripple is on a roll with a list of high-profile clients that are promoting and utilizing the cryptocurrency. It’s biggest client yet, Santander Bank, will be partnering up with Ripple to introduce a mobile app. The mobile app will use Ripple’s ledger. The bank has been testing the app for 18 months now and they have been using Apple Pay for payments. The app will be introduced to markets in Spain, U.K., Brazil, and Poland. Consumers can do transactions that will be transmitted the same day for cross-border payments. The whole process takes less than one minute! A Santander representative has announced that they will be introducing the app within the next few months.
