As we stated before, Ripple has beat Ethereum and has become the second largest cryptocurrency. Just in the past week, the coin elevated to a value over 80 percent, bringing the coin’s price to $1.63 via Bitfinex. Ripple’s huge following is in South Korea where it is exchanged at a lower price. The global price for XRP is actually higher. Bithumb, also a South Korean trading platform, has a record of 33 percent of all Ripple’s trading volume and has pushed the coin’s price up to $2.10. Globally it is being traded at $1.87. This is a whopping 29,000 percent rise from last year in January, where the price of the coin was lower than one cent! XRP’s market cap is now at $110 billion. This makes the coin’s value much higher than competitors like Ethereum. Ripple will continue to make ripples in the global market.
