Malaysia is Still on the Fence About Cryptocurrencies

The government of Malaysia is still indecisive about cryptocurrencies. They are still considering whether they want to legalize digital assets. Many neighboring countries have adopted the crypto market, such as: Hong Kong, Singapore, and Thailand. Currently, Malaysia is one of the few South East Asian countries that has not adopted digital currencies and nobody is certain when the country will embrace it. The main question government officials are asking themselves is whether it is legal or illegal. Because of Malaysia’s uncertainity, they are lagging behind other financially powerful countries.
