First Airport to Start Accepting Cyptocurrencies

Brisbane Airport, located in Australia, has announced that they will be accepting Bitcoin, Ethereum, and many other cryptocurrencies in the retail quarters of their airport. Brisbane Airport is ranked the third busiest airport in Australia. Cryptocurrency transactions and payments will be accepted by retail stores, restaurants, and any other services. TravelbyBit is the platform that will be used for point-of-sale transactions. Brisbane Airport has opted for this idea so they can avoid exchange rates, fees, and the transfer times are quick. Travelling consumers will be able to use this amenity very soon, stated a representative from Brisbane Airport. This will be the first airport to ever accept any type of cryptocurrency. It makes sense to offer this service, as investors are international and are always travelling. This is just the beginning, eventually digital assets will be the number one choice of currency!
